Health Essay The purpose of this assignment is to describe my health triangle, and the aspects of my life that mean the most to me when it comes to my health. Within my health triangle, I have my hub, the most important thing to me, and my spokes, which are things I also greatly value when it comes to my health. My hub is family. I believe that family has the largest impact on physical health, mental-emotional health, and family-social health. Through this assignment, I hope to teach what is most important to my health triangle, and how different things affect me personally. I hope to clearly portray the different tolls different aspects take on each aspect of my life, and how my wellness scale is greatly affected by my hub and by my spokes. Although family and school always come first, I do my best to maintain a healthy relationship with my friends. My social life affects my mental-emotional health through the way my relationships take a toll on my mind. If my relationships with the people in my life are unhealthy, it may have a negative effect on my mental health. Also, my social life can affect my physical health because of the habits I may pick up. If I hang around a lot of people who eat bad foods, I may begin to start eating a lot of bad foods as well. Similarly, if I hang around people with good habits, I may start to form those good habits as well. I want to improve my social health a little more by removing toxic people from my life.
