We should deterring who we are when group just formed, because recognizing ourselves help us decide our roles in small group,while the success of the group 's established role in significantly influenced the group work smooth. We re-examine our own personality to help better know ourselves. In the first meeting of our group, we first carried out its own detailed presentation. Everyone took turns to speak to tell members what we are good at and not good at doing,and previous experience of worked in small group. In this process, first of all, it was conducive to mutual understanding between team members, but also helped determining the role of each person in the group. Unlike our previous experience, we participating now in the group can be said a multicultural group. We had three members come from China. The other three members although grew up in the United States, they have different family background. Their family are Mexican family, native American family and American family. Different cultural has a clear manifestation in group communication. first of all, we will avoid some ambiguous and sensitive topics and words. In our communication,When we put forward our views, we will use language every one can understand. We will avoid some regional insight. Many Chinese people relatively quiet most of the time because of differences in language and culture barrier. Although there are some parts not so perfect. We summarize the reasons why our presentation was not satisfied our expectations in the following points. First, we lack of effective communications and practices before the speech, that cause we had a pause in our speech, and repetitive speech part. Lacking of good communication group have many reasons. First of all, team members absent group meeting cause failure information dissemination. Secondly, someone should inform the absent group member our conference content and decisions. For some reason no one told absence person that cause unsuccessful transmission of information. the successful part in our speech attributed to our group member understand the whole project, and personal prepare before speech. Before the prevention day, our group made a clear division of labor. Nick who has relatively better expressive force and presentation skill was the monitor. Shu Han and Qi Li were taking responsibility for our plan of project and book concepts, which are relatively easy parts. Mellisa presented background of project. Daniell presented the activities of the day what we did. Afterwards we found our labor division was reasonable, but exchange of information had deviation, which cause duplicate content in our
