Here we stand my fellow class mates and 4 years of high school education behind us. When I was told I would be the valedictorian, I was so surprised because I expected Trevor would be it. He is smart, and everyone knows it. Most of my classmates had asked him many academic questions, and he was sometimes busy to help us. He was the most moral and best- hearted in my life, and kind of academic savior to us. But, I couldn’t repress my astonishment that I, not he, became the valedictorian. We had much fun at the time. But, when we have grown up, we all changed a lot. We all became mature and started to get stress from grades. The days to have fun with classmates became faint, and we all got independent. We had less fun than before, and everything became boring. I don’t know if you guys feel the same with me. The school was so boring, so I even thought of changing the school. However, we have learned a lot of things as we have grown up and became upright people in this school because it was too Christian- minded. In Great Lakes, I had many fun memories with my friends, but I learned many lessons through personal struggles and hard times. I want to thank supporters of this school for supporting the school where students can learn a lot of things and be smart. And now we are just minutes away from graduating the high school. Wow. As we begin to take the next step in our lives, whether that be university, college, travelling or working, I think that it is important to take a deep breath and to be ready for the next
