When we got there, we were told she didn’t make it. My brother and aunt immediately started crying. I just looked around confused. My brother grabbed me and hugged me tight. I just stared at me. I was switched to a new class in the middle of the year and didn’t know how she ran her class, so I was confused. I kept going to her asking for help and she kept telling me to come the next day, and when she did explain I didn’t understand. All her assignments were due a certain way, which she explained in the beginning of the year. She didn’t like explaining things twice. So I started coming late, turning assignments late. My work was correct I just didn’t do it in the way she said, so because of that I lost a lot of points. I was so upset because I never failed a class and I kept asking for help but wasn’t receiving it. People were telling me to complain to the principal but I had to take the class over anyway. When I took the class over I got a A and my night school teacher didn’t understand why I was taking the class over. Even my dad was shocked, but was happy when I received a A.
