Good afternoon, I am here today to tell you a little bit about an exciting activity called geocaching and hopefully inspire you to give it a try. Geocaching almost a kind of modern day treasure hunting, but instead of a paper map, you use technology to help you find your way. It is a hobby that is interesting to a wide variety of people because of all it has to offer. Geocaching attracts people who like the outdoors, socializing, exercise, travel, exploring, technology, math, and puzzle solving. Before I began my research I was interested in this activity and I thought I already knew a lot about it. What I found while preparing this speech was surprising and made me want to participate even more.

People are finding interesting ways to use geocaching. Educators are interested in using it as a tool to motivate students, get them out of the classroom and increase their physical activity, while teaching them navigational and analytical puzzle solving skills. Workout routines are becoming more dynamic by the introduction of new locations and the added goal of seeking a hidden treasure.
Conclusion
I love hiking and the outdoors, geocaching enables you to expand upon the experience even more with the varying difficulty levels, diverse locations, and different cache types. You can learn from solving the puzzles, feel the thrill of finding a well-hidden cache, and explore new places you hadn’t thought of. I even found a cache hidden on the road that I live on. Anyone can participate, and there is little to no cost involved. It provides extra incentive for people to get outside, away from the TV, computers, and video games. It is a great way to explore new places, learn, and get exercise all at the same
