Become a supporter and encourager of allowing them a day to themselves every once in a while. I don’t know the real time frame, but at minimum, twice a year. Plan on it, schedule it, and heck who knows, you may need one of those days yourself. I love my wife and have been married for 35 years now, but it is good sometimes for me to have a day that I “soul search” all to myself or spend a day reading, writing, hunting or dreaming.
