I am a person with a good sense of humor. Sometimes you just have to laugh at life to keep going. Having a good sense of humor keeps me happy emotionally, personally and professionally. I have a bad habit of topic jumping as I talk. I chop my words by cutting them short. My mind thinks faster than I can talk and it causes me to get in a hurry which causes me to topic jump. My plans are to stay focused and think about what I want to say before I say it. I will know I have reached my goals in all of the three specific growth areas, by making video recording sessions throughout practicum and playing them back to evaluate myself. I see myself as a dedicated Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. I consider myself to be a loyal friend. I am family oriented. My mother, sibling, cousins, and my immediate family are very close. I see myself as a resilient person because I have overcome many difficult problems in life. I am honest; I don’t see any reason for me to tell a lie. The number one reason I try not to lie is the please God. The second reason is if you tell one lie you usually have to tell another lie to cover up the first one. I am a very hard worker. When I start something, I like to finish it. It is hard for me to put something down or stop working on something because it’s hard to stay focus when you have unfinished business. I can be somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to some things. I am strong willed. Once I have my mind set it pretty difficult to change my mind unless the evidence is solid. I am a type of person that it is hard to take advantage of because when I do something, I do it because I want to. Therefore, a person might think they are getting over on me, but they are not. I did it because I wanted to and not because they made me or manipulated me into doing it. I love to help people spiritually, but I don’t stop there, I try to help in whatever way they need.
