Extremism in 21st century means having beliefs and actions which are unacceptable for the society where person is living because of being too violent. Being extremist sometimes involves aggression and extreme ways of acting what is unlikely for the rest of the society. Extremist parties may try to change situation in country using violence and fear as they are having uncompromising and fanatical views on issues connected to government and are minded radically. Political extremism see politics as a war and do not concede on anything , because of it they consider liberals as their enemies. Radical right-wing parties cannot exist without dedicated members who are ready to participate in the events held by party and are ready to campaign as well as to represent the party at elections. Reasons why different members joined the party has been examined in research by Virchow(2004) and Kimmel(2007) and shows that there are a lot of different types of activists with different ideologies and backgrounds,some of them strongly believe in racism and hierarchical organization of society while some just seek to achieve concrete policy changes or personal gains but are not ideologically strongly entrenched. Art(2011) shows three different types of activists – extremists, moderates and opportunists. First one, extremists are the ones who really believe in this ideology and are very radical . Second , are moderates which are not so radical and most of the time are only against the immigration. Third are opportunists who do not have strong ideological views and are just interested in political power and material benefits. Also Birenbaum (1992,p.294) analyzed that in 1980s working class was still not represented well enough ,but ten years later their number in party has increased by 30% . According to Bizeul (2003,p.204) members have two characteristics: they have an authoritarian personality and they respect and adore past of France. They think that only people who have French blood should own the citizenship, and at least one parent should French by nationality in order to deserve living in this country . Front national members are strongly convinced in their views and are sure that they are right.
