Even if they have essential attributes to perform their jobs. Often their employees experience unneeded tension because of their supervisor’s constant demands. For example, supervisors may cause hostility in the workplace, and enjoy the drama that follows. They can also try to micromanage everything, driving employees insane. It does not mean that these supervisors do this on deliberately. They are not aware of what they are doing, and employs are afraid to say something for fear of reprisal. But, these supervisors don’t make their workers lives easier or increase workflow.
On the contrary, an ethical supervisor does not try to oversee everything or view themselves in higher regard. An ethical supervisor knows the weaknesses and strengths of their employees, accepting of ideas, encouraging, and cares about the team and the work.
