Ethical Issues In High School Essay

In high school, we come across many moral and ethical dilemmas. High school is a new world, and we’re exposed to issues concerning alcohol, drugs, and making our own decisions. High school is the entry way to adulthood and us as students are becoming our own self-governing beings and this comes with a lot of responsibility. But, what do you do when another person becomes the problem? What do you do when their psychological and home issues interfere with your ability to maintain happiness and focus on school work? That’s what I had to figure out for myself. I had a friend in high school named Hannah. Hannah was sweet with short blond hair and a good smile, always maintained straight “A’s” and managed to become number one in our class ranking of GPA. Hannah and I became friends my sophomore year, we sat together with a group of friends at lunch and we had a lot in common. We were both considered the most intelligent of the group, liked the same music, and used the same websites. I understood Hannah in a lot of ways other people did not. Hannah and I had sixth period Anatomy together and we sat with each other at the far end of the class. She opened up to me very quickly within the first couple of weeks of school. I learned everything about her history up until the present day. She found me incredibly easy to talk to and I enjoy listening to people.
