Ergonomic Chair When we have occupations, we are expected to work professionally and take responsibilities of whatever we are obligated to accomplish. However, a great performance in the office must also be supported by not only dedication from the workers, but also adequate equipments such as ergonomic chairs and tables, and other data collection related tools around (Lueder 1). The increase of interactions with computer indeed reflects stability and smoothness of productivity within any enterprises. On the other hand, this situation may unfortunately lead to health problems in work especially if the workers do not have appropriate postures when they are working with the computers. Lueder reports that one of the most common health problem that many workers usually encounter if they are not able to sit properly while they are using computers is the muskuloskeletal problem (1). This problem usually occurs due to static working postures or sitting in front of the computers for long time. However, one common hindrance that many companies usually encounter in a decision whether they need to implement ergonomic chairs is budget of the companies. Ergonomic or adjustable chairs usually cost more than regular chairs. Quinn reports that the cost of an ergonomic chair can start at $350 up to $1000 (1). The price of an ergonomic chair will eventually increase the amount of the companies ' fixed cost. When the employers are sitting on the poor office chairs for a long period and day to day, their bodies are likely to form natural bent which can result in crunched internal organs and bent spine unconsciously ("Ergonomics" 1). The crunched intestines usually force the stomach to work on the digestive function not in optimal position while the bent spines generally makes the employers feel uncomfortable such as cramps around the hips and waists. This situation unfortunately leads the employers to have irritating digestive problems which reflect from their inappropriate sitting position. Poor sitting postures can also cause poor blood circulation throughout the employers ' bodies. As we know that blood circulation is the most important function in our bodies as it supplies every single of the internal body parts with nutrients in order to stay healthy and be able to conduct activities well ("Ergonomics" 1). However, poor sitting postures can inhibit the flow of blood circulation throughout the body system.
