Amidst growing concerns about climate changes that owes it occurrence to global warming due to the gradual destruction of the environment by human beings, we are aware of the fact that we are the culprits and victims at the same time. It is by the wise words of men like former governor of Wisconsin and co-founder of Earth Day who once said, "The ultimate test of man 's conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard," that we should build our own ethical standards. This will put more efforts into reducing the use of resources in the environment and prevention of pollution rather than having to deal with aftermaths of pollution. Over exhaustion of environmental resources is bound to create pollution. Humanity has been known to be motivated by incentives therefore; government also has to come up with legislations to not only prevent destruction of the environment through use of resources but also to provide incentives for corporates and individuals to motivate them to change. Since industries do what they do with the main purpose to meet their customer need and demands, consumers must also play part and shoulder some of the responsibilities to make the economy sustainable. However in an effort to strike this balance there are bound to be obstacles when trying to get industrial corporations to change their ways. This is due to the fact that there will be conflict of interest and also some industries will be hard or even impossible to change.
