Drill and ceremony is necessary to JROTC because it allow the cadets to develop teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Teamwork is important in order for the cadets and the leader too corporate together to perform a sharp drill and ceremony. Discipline is required not just in drill and ceremony, but in life in order for one to follow orders and assignments which is part of leadership too. I will improve drill and ceremony in my squad by setting an example and demonstrate the commands and provide individual instruction to those who need it.
