Understanding the importance of diversity from a business perspective is very important for a college. In order to attract students from various cultures, they must have enrollment numbers to support and attract all students to their campus. Affirmative Action has helped some colleges increase their number of minorities to try to diversify their student body. Acceptance of diversity in society is part of the ever changing culture. Affirmative Action in the college setting has been just another area that will require gradual acceptance by many.
