DISCIPLINARY SYSTEM (norika)
Discipline in the workplace is controlling personnel correct behaviourial deficiencies and ensure the compliance to established company rules. (‘Discipline in The Workplace’, n.d.). Disciplinary system should be implemented in every workplace because it can control the employee’s behavior based on the rule given. This is because not all of the employees can always follow the rules given to them as long as they work in the company. Disciplinary system can educate the employees and make they more alert of their responsibility in the workplace.

PURPOSE OF DISCIPLINE IN THE WORKPLACE

When a company establish a rules as one of the disciplinary system, it can make the employees to comply with the rules provided by employer. Disciplines also can improve employee’s performance as they really understand the rules

The employer of Scout Inn Resort pays workers' wages according to the labor act 1955 where workers are paid on work hours which is the worker have eight hours for working hours and one hour rest. The basic salary are calculated as follow ; basic salary divided by twenty-six working day divided by eight hours of working hours. For overtime, the employer paid overtime based on their working hours which is calculated such as; hours of overtime times one point five. This overtime are calculated when the employee take overtime on usual working days and not include for public
