Data mining is most dominant technology at present. It is one of the most important and inspiring area of research. It is a process for exploration and analysis of huge amount of data. The concept of Data Mining is used in many sectors such as industries, universities, banking and many more as it helps to study on the important data about the activities of the customers. With the results obtained from data mining the firms could able to discover the new things which help to improve their strategy and decision making.
Now a days, Data Mining has become popular in medical sector due to the need of efficient analytical method to detect the unknown and important information in health data. The main reason behind the using of data mining application in healthcare systems is to develop an automated tool for identifying of healthcare information. It is very advantageous to all the people related to medical sectors such as doctors, patients, medical insurer and other related members who are concerned with this medical sector.

It also helps to calculate cost of the treatment and rate of risk of the patient’s illness.
