We are showing our children in our care that we see their cultural differences and we all share something unique about our lively hoods.
When we promote different cultural diversity within our settings we are allowing children to be free and confident about who they are and where they come from and help them to build connections between home and early childhood settings or school (programming & planning, chpt 2, pg 37). By making our settings this way we ensure that all children feel a sense of belonging.
