All that being said, there are two additional attributes that carry a lot of weight on the journey to success in the military and that is passion and commitment. Being committed to something means that you pledge yourself to the cause and you practice your beliefs consistently and without hesitation. Doing the things that cadets and officers do takes courage and guts because they are doing it for something bigger than themselves and they commit themselves to the country and all the citizens within our borders. Commitment in leaders is important because they will follow through with their promises and stick with it no matter how difficult it may become.
