Change is important in every human and without certain changes the life will be totally boredom. According to William & Savickas (2000), change can be defined as a process of causing a function, practice or thing to become different somehow compared to what it is at present or what it was in the past. Any kind of change can develop a person into a highly specialised and very powerful, personal, familial and professional development. Self-knowledge, self-development and self-direction are key terms used to develop ourselves in building blocks towards success. However to develop a change in a person is not an easy job, since we are humans with logical and emotional characters where change is complicated to be applied into us. Change brings risks and uncertainties whereby if not managed properly it may lead to huge cost to the person or an organisation.
Change also brings challenges which might cause monotonous and repetitive to a person or an organisation. Change can be classified into personal change, professional change and organisational change. Personal changes are more to the change a person done to themselves to adapt with the current situation or for self-improvement.

However for effective personal and professional change nurses need to ensure that they able to identify the purpose of the change and they should understand change could be extremely difficult at times. However towards the personal or professional change the organisation support is very important as on-going support to the nurses should continue until the change is deemed complete. Once the change is accomplished an evaluation and summary of the problems encountered, success realised and challenges encountered throughout the change process for future
