Should Phones Be Allowed In School

I think phones should be allowed in school, we may not have to be on them all the time but we should at least be able to have them incase we need to call someone or if we have free time in a class we could play games, listen to music, or use google, dictionary.com, and an example of is our history book is online and at school sometimes there’s not enough chromebooks or Ipads. Mobile devices are kind of like a drug that children, teens, and young adults can’t seem to put down and that’s not always a good thing. The reason this isn’t always a good thing is because some kids don’t go outside and play, hang out with friends or know how the real world works, most kids would rather play video games and be in a virtual world. The kids that are so addicted to electronics end up nowhere because they don’t know how to deal with real people in life. Well phone devices affect that and the way students think about things. Using phones while a teachers giving a lesson and affect how your test score is, 91 in four schools in the UK found that not having phones on during class students had a higher test score. I think we should be able to have phones in school with us just we don't use them for certain things in class, we should be able to use them in class to listen to music because it helps some students focus and not get distracted. Listening to music while working in class helps me stay on task and not get annoyed but other classmates talking , yelling, tapping a pen any of that. I put earbuds in turn on music and get my work done. Most schools do that they let kids listen to music and when they are done with their homework they are allowed to use their devices and we should be able to do
