It refers to establish minimum limit in the counseling session for the sake of counselor, children and play material. It applied with the A-C-T model which consist of acknowledging the feeling, communicating the limit and targeting an alternative. For example, If the child want to use color pen to draw on the wall in counselling, counselor may first reflect child feeling by saying ‘You wish to draw picture on the wall’, ‘but wall is not for the drawing purpose’ counselor point out the limit (limit communication). They perceive the world as a hostile that they think and response negatively to the people who offer helps (Carroll, 2000). According to Landreth, children with aggressive tends to find safety and accepting environment that allows them pursuit self-enhancing positive feelings (2002). That is the reason why CCPT is effective to deal with students because counselor accept the aggressive and hostile attitude of them and provide safe and accepting space for students to play freely without directive instruction. They can freely use toys such as guns, toy soldier and rubber knives to help them expressing intense emotion such as anger, hostility and frustration. With the help of limit setting in the counselling session, student can learn how to control themselves by acting appropriately with the guidance of counselor. They also can practice their self-control so that they are not only well behave in play session but also in outside world when there is an unexpected limitation (Guerney, 2001). In addition, under the trust relationship with counselor, students try to challenge their negative thought and behavior to people which motivate the improvement and change.
