Reflection On English 306 Class

Looking back at all the things we have accomplished in English 306, I am amazed at how much I have learn. From writing actual business inquires such as letter of recommendation, incident reports, progress report, group projects, and finally our long report. All of which I was very unfamiliar with, and was all new to me. Letters of recommendation and cover letters was the only things I was familiar with, and even with that I still didn’t had a firm grasp on. I remember the first day entering the class, and feeling so intimidated by everything that I had read on the syllabus of this course. I was unsure how it would be like since I never have taken a business writing class before. To my surprise as the class progress and the semester went by, this class proved to be a very enjoyable and a highly useful tool to navigate through life. I’ve met many great people in this class, and it has taught me to better communicate and work with others.

This forced me to prioritize my time more effectively, and see how I can work with time constraints given to me. This proved to be my most difficulty challenge throughout the semester, as time seem to fly by for me. But it taught me a valuable lesson on how to effectively and efficiently manage my time, and value the time I had. It’s still something I am still working on, and I don’t think I’ll ever truly be able to manage it with one hundred percent certainty, for life is always unpredictable.
