In the field of brain science, scientist have to answer these questions, how to connect to the parts inside of the brain cortex without causing injury to outer tissues and how to input information into the brain. Besides, every single person has a different nerve system. For example, ‘Recent evidence shows that differences in brain structure correlate with variation in individuals’ social network size.’(J. Sallet). This means scientist have to handle such differences between individuals while doing experiments or brain communication. In the field of signal processing, decoding the different meanings of electronic signal in different part of brain and coding them with universal encoding system are two important things of brain-to-brain communication. So, to prove that brain-to-brain communication is possible, several probable solutions of these problems will be listed in the following …show more content…
Noninvasive brain-computer interface enables communication after brainstem stroke (Eric). Of course as the pictures, feelings and even emotions be added to the object to be transferred, the difficulty will rise. It is sure to be solved in foreseeable future.
Actually, the idea of brain-to-brain communication has been partly accepted today. In Direct brain-to-brain communication demonstrated in human subjects , the abstract of it said: ‘In a first-of-its-kind study, an international team of neuroscientists and robotics engineers has demonstrated the viability of direct brain-to-brain communication in humans.’ (Grau C) The passion of the engineers, scientists and investors will surely increase the rate of success and lead this project to run well.
In summary, the future of brain-to-brain communication is bright. The important part for scientist to finish is figuring out what feeling, memory, emotion, inspiration and many other things are in brains. If brain-to-brain communication comes true, our way of communication will surely be
