The Importance Of Body Identity In Young Adults

Body identity for young adults is one of the most common problems that young adults face today. Throughout the day you are bound to see your self appearance whether that be in a mirror, reflection or shadow. When it comes to seeing myself physically it differs from day to day due to my struggle with depression and anxiety. We throw the terms "anxiety" and "depression" around as if they are the average human experience. They are not. Anxiety and worrying are not the same things. People and go ahead and google what it is like to suffer from these things but only the actual people going through them can see and feel it in themselves. My closet is full of great clothes, my fridge packed with healthy natural foods and friends that practically drag me to the gym.
