This will then lead to me gaining a much greater understanding of all the aspects in midwifery. As my aspiration in life is to care and support vulnerable individuals it has been reflected through my GCSE’S and my BTEC choices. I have also shown a great number of skills through my courses in which show dedication to completing my studies and going into further education to study midwifery. In my studies currently I have the following skills; good time management, ability to cope under pressure and also I have improved my communication skills. Since I started studying Health and Social Care in which I first studied when I was in Year 10, this is where I learnt about the Human life stages and development. This also gave me an insight to babies and how they should be developing at the different life stages. Further into my education I chose to study Triple Health and social care Level 3, this was an amazing choice as I learnt many skills such as communication. This is where I learnt different ways of communicating and how to communicate to individuals who have a barrier to communication. This is very important when working in any kind of health and social care environment and whilst being around pregnant women and
