We needed to hear one another and read each other in the middle of the games. I focused on all my teammate’s inputs and took them all into consideration for the final decision. In being a co-captain, I had a 50/50 relationship with my fellow co-captain. At times, we would disagree with certain decisions and would have to find a decision that would settle all components. The communication skills were critical for ensuring the success of our team. Through communication, our team grew a close bond where we could all read the expressions off one another’s face to receive a non-verbal communication. Along with communication, comes listening. I will learn to respect the leader, when I am not the leader in a certain situation. Furthermore, I will know that being a leader is not an easy task; it can become very stressful, especially in the concept of pleasing everyone around you. Regarding this, all leaders are different, and there ways of being a leader will be different for every situation, but if in the end, the final product is successful, then the leader completed their role as a leader in a well-mannered
