Her most challenging part of her job is that she doesn’t get to spend the quality time she would like to spend with her patients and their family because of all her responsibilities. Another challenge she’s faced in her 8 years is the increase in more technologies for bedside care and the push to be working at the top of your license, which has increased the responsibilities. Overall, as a neuro ICU nurse she faces many challenges because it is a high stress, highly emotional, and physical environment. That’s all I try to do in life is go out of my way to help someone, if I can, and this is something I can do for anyone without setbacks, unless because of an illness. This occupation is not only a way for me to help, but its also something I enjoy learning and participating in. What I enjoy most about this particular field is that most times a person is either caring for someone, tending to someone’s needs, helping them get better, and leaving them with a smile on their face, rather than complaining or being dissatisfied with the care they received. My goal is to be the best nurse I can be for the people to be satisfied and or cared for like they need to
