“No matter what your circumstances or goals, no matter where you are, or what problems you face, you are better off if your thinking is skilled” (Dr. Elder and Dr. Paul, 2015). In the operating room, critical thinking is very crucial because you are dealing with peoples’ lives. We have to be sure that we are using critical thinking to our capability in any procedures we that perform in the operating room. We have many choices to make, and we need to make the best choices for ourselves and the patients. To improve the quality of our thinking, we must understand and learn how to become the best criticizer of our thinking. We have to learn how to examine our thinking by asking questions, where is our thinking come from? Is it a good or poor quality of thinking? Do we have control of our thinking, or is it just happening in our minds? The truth is that we do not think about our thinking, but everything we want, feel and do is influenced by our thinking.
