I quickly learned that being a leader takes a lot of time. A lot of meetings and planning goes into a project to get things done and it is important to prioritize what is really important so you do not let other people down. By me becoming a CSA, it would be selfish at this time in college for me because I have so much happening in my life and I would not be able to give the adequate time to my job and that needs to be my first priority. This semester I have signed up to do a lot of things and I cannot keep up with it at this pace. I have twos jobs, school, my sorority and a family that also needs my attention and I am not willing at this point to let one of these go. I am happy I took this class because it has shown me all of the possibilities that Sonoma State has to offer and it has made me grow as a person. I feel that I have become more accepting and realized that I am not the only person who needs help when it comes to leadership. We are always improving and growing because times change and not all people have the same religion, political views or race and it is important you realize this so you do not offend other people by the way you do things. I will have saved enough money for a car in order to get around and I will have time to join the Financial Club on campus. I want to continue working hard at school so I can stay at Sonoma and one day get a job as an accountant for the company I am interning with this summer in Texas. I have a lot of goals, but by joining different things I am meeting new people to become more outgoing and getting a bigger group together who also have goals in life. Without goals, you cannot be financially stable and you will not have the drive to convince others that you have a point. I want other people to take me seriously and know I am a dependable human being willing to work my hardest for something I strongly believe in. It is not always easy, but it is rewarding in the end if you stick your mind to what you want to
