If you aren’t patient with your work then nothing will go your way. Each time you change or add something to your work you need to have thought and effort put into it. If you become behind in art, the projects just keep piling up, which makes everything a lot harder. Since each project usually takes a lot of time, you need to stay busy during class. If you are not using your time wisely in class you will be the student that is behind, because of that you will end up having to make a bunch of poor quality projects because you are being rushed. Even in the rain, or thunder, you can’t stop practicing, you just have to push through the storm. Perfecting your skills on the track, field, court, ring, mat, etc. does not come easy, and takes time. The weather plays a major role in whether you will practice or not. When athletes hear that dreaded announcement, “all sports practice will be cancelled today due to weather,” they now have to change all of their plans. I believe, adding an indoor practice facility to the school will benefit the school because, during stormy days practice does not have to be cancelled, give the school more to offer, give coaches more time with their athletes to perfect their skills.…

The moment I stepped foot into Freeburg High School, I knew I was in for a big change. I remember when Smithton took the 8th grade class to the high school for a tour of where we would be going the next four years and as soon as we got there I practically freaked out as to how big of a change it was. It was also really difficult for me to even start a conversation with most teachers, let alone joining any clubs or sports. Either way, I knew was that if my sisters could get through high school so I could too.…
