Animal experiment is one of the greatest controversial issues that there are many different viewpoints for its benefits or detriments; but why animal experimentation is not good for humans? Animal experiment is not a bad kind of experimentation; in fact it has been always beneficial for humans and it has helped humans a lot. Nowadays using animals is a way for humans to increase their knowledge. Scientifics use animals for increasing their knowledge in different fields like medical sciences, biology and etc. Animal testing might be bad and detrimental for animals, but it is good for humans because animal testing helps humans to increase their knowledge in medical sciences, some animals are resemble to human’s physiology also there is not any

One of the main fields that animals are being used is medical science. Animals are good options to be used for medical treatments and it has been proved by passing the time and by successes that animal testing has caused of. For example, Frankie L. Trull in his article, which calls “Animal Testing and Its Gifts to Humans” in Wall Street Journal states “Thanks to the work of scientists and physicians at Duke University, an experimental new treatment for Glioblastoma Multiforme, or GBM—an aggressive tumor that kills about 12000people in the U.S. each year is saving the lives of patients who, just months ago, had little hope for survival.” The treatment has found by experiments on mice and now, many humans can survived by the treatment which has found by animal testing; therefore animal testing is helping humans to improve medical sciences. As another example, according to the “Animal Testing and Its Gifts to Humans”, in 1996 a research team used mice for researches and it was a successful research for polio virus. In 2000, another research team completed the researches and these two researches resulted in a breakthrough therapy. This statement from the “Animal Testing and Its Gifts to Humans” shows other successes in medical sciences that animal testing helped humans to reach new treatments.
