Importance Of America's Foreign Policy Goals

The United States is revered as the big brother of the world. In order to maintain that role, America should have three main foreign policy goals, protecting our nation and our people from our enemies, promoting our economy and working towards world peace. National security is the primary goal and a short term goal which needs to be prioritized. Next up is promoting America’s economy so we can get out of our immense debt. In doing so the united states will be better fit to give aid to foreign countries. Lastly, working towards world peace, this a long term goal, but should always be kept in mind. The benefits of achieving this goal are endless.

The first goal for our country should be to keep our nation from safe from foreign enemies. Our people want to as safe as possible and as a nation we need to honor that. Getting this goal we be very hard, there will be many obstacles to overcome. Peace will bring stability to the world, with stability comes prosperity. A safe world is a happy world. World peace is very similar to our immense debt, both are very hard goals to accomplish, but when it does happen, the world will become a much better place.
