Why I Chose For College

My existence has been a roller coaster of up 's and down 's, questions of whether I should be the intelligent and conservative daughter my mother expects me to be. As a result, for the longest time I 've wanted to please and live up to my family 's expectations. Even though, I get harshly reprimanded often. Which tends to depress and improve my studies depending on the situation, Eventually I had mustered enough courage and gathered weeks worth of information to back up my desire to go overseas for college. Although I wasn’t sure how to tell my family the plan I had thought out for college, so i started small and decided to tell my parents first to gauge how they would react, and then I would break the news to the rest of the family. I had explained to them that I wanted to attend a engineering university in Tokyo, Japan that has certain courses in english, tuition was cheap, and it would be a good opportunity to have another foreign language on my resume. Despite all the confidence that I had gained prior to speaking, I had become absolutely drained and felt weak in my knees …show more content…
Given the fact that I am relatively healthy I think that once I begin university, depending on how much work I tackle head first, it will affect my well being. Although there is always the caution that in an attempt of acceptance to my family and persist in getting a consistently suitable grade could also affect my mental or physical state. Hopefully once I enter university I will be able to perceive the significance that if i cannot be satisfied with myself, then I can never hope to understand what my inner desires. So even though I will be swamped with college life, I must prioritize my health before anything else. That all being said, it completely depends on how stress inducing the curriculum in the class is, the amount of natural sleep which provides me energy to walk from class to class, and studying that prepares me
