The one accomplishment that marked my transition from being a child into becoming an adult would have to be when I got my first job at Culver’s. This accomplishment was a major milestone in my life which lead to many other great things to follow it. After applying to many different places I finally got a call back from Culver’s saying that they would like to have me come in to have an interview with me. At first I was a nervous wreck, but with the help of some really good friends with some good tips on how to dress, talk, and answer some of their tougher questions. I really appreciated their help and if it weren't for them I probably wouldn't have got the job.…

Then one of my leaders came up to me and asked if I was planning on putting in the work it took to be an Eagle. I told him I did not know because I knew all the hard work and how I would have to persevere. In response, he told me I could do it if I tried.…

In my life I have had many accomplishments. The biggest one I've had was my Quinceañera. I remember being 11 years old and seeing my sister in her dress, with her crown and shoes, and ever since that day I was counting down the years for my 15. I had in mind everyone I wanted as my damas and chambelanes, I had an inkling of how I wanted certain things to look like. Never did I imagine moving to Broward, and later Fort Pierce.…

One accomplishment I am most proud of is teaching myself to play the piano. Music has always been one of my favorite things in life. When I was younger, I would try to come up with song lyrics and was also interested in learning guitar. My dad played when he was younger but never played much after he had kids. I was fortunate enough one day to get a piano from a close family friend.…

I believe my greatest success was receiving honors at Argosy University. I think this was my greatest achievement because it’s something that’s gets me a little closer to my goals. If it wasn’t for that boost of motivation I received, I don’t believe that I would be as encouraged. I needed the boast so I can stay positive and stay on top of what is most important. An achievement like that takes hard work and when I saw it pay off, it made me so happy.…

We all listened to the same bands, loved the same teen heartthrob, and all had a similar personality. It took losing a core group of friends of mine transitioning into freshman year to show me that it’s okay to be your own person. I will say freshman year was a huge struggle for me to go through without being friends with the people that I had grown closest to in the 8th grade and years prior to 9th grade, but in the long run it has benefitted me more than I could have ever imagined that year. I now am not afraid to be alone sometimes and not always hang out with a group of people or one person every weekend. I’m okay with spending time by myself just relaxing in my room or grabbing some lunch at bread co by myself when I can.…
