To pursue means to devote time and attention to following/attaining certain goal(s), task(s), objectives(s) aim(s) or assignment(s).

A Career can be interpreted as a vocation/job for which one has received some form of training to undertake. This can be in various facets of human endeavour. It may be in the formal or informal sectors. The formal sector includes the vocations/jobs that have very rigorous, rigid and comprehensive form of training before attaining the level of competence and proficiency required to undertake such career. These include all forms of career that require a minimum of National Diploma in form of educational training before one becomes adequately equipped for such career

This scripture is exposing a secret to us all. And the secret is that not all successes are great successes! This is very remarkable, because in our society, there is absolutely no distinction between categories of successes. All we hear and read is that people are successful because they have businesses/career that are flourishing, even when they may have cut corners to get there, or people are wealthy hence they are successful, because they have so much money that they cannot spend in their lifetime. If you are in anyway confused, seek Godly counsel from Godly people. Do not make unbelievers of ignoramus your counsellors. A man/woman can only give as much as he/she has.
