After the passing away of mother in 2006, daughter fell in the hands of depression which she still battles till date and this brought a more negative impact to the entire family. 5 % to 11 % of the total population in the United States will experience major depression at some time in their life. Over half of those will have recurrent episodes periodically throughout their lives” in one way or the other at some point in their lives according to (Horsley, 2004, p.1). This daughter can be educated with the help of a psychologist on the importance of taking antidepressant and its continuity without abruptly stopping them.
