The directions explain that the person taking the test will use the keys “E” and “I” on the key board and each key is associated with different categories. For the first section “black people” are associated with the “E” key, and “white people” are associated with the “I” key. If the person selects the wrong key through any of these following sections a red “X” will appear and to continue they will have to press the correct key. In the second section “bad words” are associated with the “E” key, and “good words” are associated with the “I” key.
