To innovate in this area, EBP’s would need to be delivered through a variety of means. Of course, communication skills would be key, so that the standards, expectations, and ways of doing things could be relayed. Professional development would also play a role, because nurses would need to continue learning and growing to keep up with the newest EBP’s. By taking the steps mentioned here, the systems themselves actually define the environment, which ends up leading to a culture which is based upon EBP’s and EBP’s only. This allows nurses to thrive, because they are using sound, safe, and practical approaches, while also cutting out approaches which might be detrimental to patients.
