Impetigo is the next skin disorder we will discuss. It is a highly contagious infection that creates red sores on the face area. It has more than 300,000 cases per year. Impetigo is mainly a skin infection in infants and children. How it spreads is by skin to skin contact. Some symptoms you want to look for is face sores around the nose or mouth. The only form of treatment is antibiotics which only shortens the time of infection. Ways to prevent impetigo is basic skin care to keep your skin healthy, and to prevent the spread of infection always wash the infected areas. Another highly contagious disorder that must do with children and the skin is fifths disease. This disease or disorder whatever you prefer has over 200,000 cases per year.
