Warm up: The students will write five sentences of activities they did yesterday. Volunteer will share one of their sentences and the teacher will place emphasis in the verb used in the preterite tense.
Using a Power Point Presentation, the teacher will present a review of the correct use of the preterite tense. The teacher will indicate the students to write on their notebook, the table with the verb forms and other important information to use for future references. Using the Chromebook the students will access the website www.conjuguemos.com to practice verb conjugation in the preterite tense during 5-8 minutes. In groups of eight, four student will be in the middle of a circle and four will be out of the circle facing their peers.
Using cards containing verbs conjugation the students will practice the irregular preterite tense. The four students out of the circle will rotate to the right side to practice another verb in its different forms (I, you, he/she/it, we, they, and you).
This activity will take place outside the classroom, at the front of the gym in the school campus.
