Brief Summary Of 'All Quiet On The Western Front'

After being assigned to practice All Quiet on the Western Front duties for chapter two as homework, Mr. and Mrs. Davis set out to perform thorough checks to ensure that everybody has done their jobs. The assignment was honestly quite tedious, but it has given students a firm grasp on the understanding of the book. Mrs. Davis gave a clear explanation of what was going to transpire while they went around class for any time All Quiet on the Western Front work was due. While they checked, the students were to go around amongst their table and practice sharing their best

So far we 've been introduced to further antagonists such as Himmelstoss. He provides harsh punishment to Paul and his friends, who eventually return the favor with a beating. New recruits are also assigned to replace the dead soldiers wiped out by war. We soon first see Paul and his crew in face of war. We see the gruesome effects of warfare through the young recruit who defecated himself and met his demise and other brutal scenes. Overall, it 's a great read! It provides humor, action and drama! What more could the audience desire?!

A Doll’s House Play

A Doll’s House performed by Mr. and Mrs. Davis was probably the highlight of the week. Students laughed and cried by a wonderful humorous performance by the real life husband and wife. Trinity Sneed, a fellow classmate, rates it a “ten out of ten” performance. Courage Kim, another classmate, says it was the “highlight of the year.”

“I Wandered Lonely as a cloud” occurred during the nineteenth in Europe. It was a response to Industrial Revolution, expressing deep nostalgia for the way things used to be before. We were presented art pieces like the Wanderer Above the Sea Fog, literature works such as “I Wandered Lonely as a cloud,” and music from composers like Beethoven. Similarly, they all portray the love of purity before industrialization. The lesson was honestly quite mundane, showing little exuberance to excite the class on a gloomy Monday. It was evident from the lack of attention and drowsiness of some students.
