Africa has a unique history including the imperialism in Africa. Europeans drove imperialism in Africa. The Europeans didn't know much about Africa, but they were buying and selling slaves in Africa. They never really considered to have their land, but something drove them to get it. They went to the option imperialism after slavery was over. The European countries starting controlling land in Africa. They did mean things to Africa, that include violence. Europeans also wanted very valuable resources in Africa that no one knew about.
