Technology plays an important role in every sphere of life. It has certainly changed the way we live in different aspects of life and redefined living. Several sectors like medicine, warfare, transportation and navigation, business, economy, and even in education particularly in science and mathematics. Manual tasks can be automated, complex and critical processes can be carried out with ease and efficiency with the help of modern technology. Scope and Limitations of the Study Objectively, this survey focuses on the impacts of the Technology Dependency referred to in the research. The study will touch both negative and positive impacts of technology use and dependency of the students. This survey will provide an assessment on the extent of technology use in the academic development, interactions, and involvement of the students. The sample for the study included students who were enrolled in different college departments of University of Saint La Salle-Bacolod. There will be 20 selected respondents to be survey on each Departments from College of Nursing, College of Engineering, College of Arts & Sciences, and College of Business and Accountancy, those that are much exposed from technology and those that have less access to differentiate the impacts it has on the students. Further, it includes evaluation on their involvement with different activities on technology dependence and independency. Similar survey sheets will be distributed by the researchers to all the target respondents throughout the University within one-week period.
