Background: Telemedicine is the technology which utilizes the telecommunications system to treat the health of the people form a distance where there is now availability of the skilled and specialized physician and no physician at all. Due to the inability of the low skilled physicians and unavailability of the physician or Healthcare service, the lives of the people who live in the remote or the rural areas are being jeopardize.
Purpose: The main aim of this research paper is to outline the following:
A) To know the impact of telemedicine on quality of care
B) To know the Impact of telemedicine on the safety of the patients
Methods: The method I have chosen is the systemic literature review using 25 research articles which included systemic reviews and survey articles. This paper contains the results summarized form the various research articles. I have gathered 40 research articles and eliminated the articles which were written before 2005. Most of the articles I referred were journal and peer review articles such as NCBI, website articles, BMC, WILEY, P&T journals, PubMed, PLOS, JMIR publications and Google scholar.
Results: This paper used 30 articles which emphasized on the impact of telemedicine on the present healthcare.

Though many articles stated that the use of telemedicine is safe and effective, but still few articles expressed criticism saying that telemedicine have shown no significant effect in improving the quality which would in turn increase the expenses for the hospital. Few stated that the studies performed on the impact of telemedicine are for a shorter duration of time. To get accurate and confident results, the studies should be conducted for longer duration of time only them one can make a conclusion that the use of telemedicine will be effective or
