This is an example of how a lack of nurture can provide people with a monstrous nature. A father’s love can influence how a child can interact with his peers. According to Ronald Rohner and the University of Connecticut, “Parental rejection may be expressed behaviorally as a lack of affection toward the child, as physical or verbal aggression, or as neglect” (164).
