Both the Texas War for Independence and the Mexican-American War had a positive impact on America and negative impact on Mexico. America had a positive impact because of the land they acquired. On the other side, Mexico got affected by the land that they lost. These impacts occurred during the wars that they had.
One war that Mexico and America had was the Texas War for Independence. This was in 1836 when the Tejanos fought against the Americans because they were in conflict with them. The reason why the Tejanos didn’t like the Americans was that they weren’t happy for the Americans going and settling in Texas without permission.
