Immigration to an elementary class
1) I will talk about Immigration in America and what consist of an alien. Having my whole lesion consist of hand rising to yes and no question.
- I will ask all the kids to raise their hands to the question I ask if it pertains to them
I will first ask
--Are you born in America? / Are you born outside America?
--Do you consider yourself American? / if so (not), why?
Then I will give out facts and start each sentence with did you know
--Did you know that laws are groups of rules that a community follows?
--Did you know that the second president of the united state is John Adams?
--Did you know that John Adams passed a law called the Alien and Sedition Acts?
