Take a look around, how many people from different nationalities do you see around you? The world we live in is so culturally diverse, everywhere you look, you see so much racial integration it’s outstanding. These people are only here because either themselves or their parents migrated to this country. An immigrant is a person who comes from one country, to another country to permanently reside in the new country, most immigrants come for not only work and a better life, but also for more opportunities. Immigration isn’t just limited to one nationality or race,however; along with, African Americans, Asians, and even Europeans, many different nationalities come to the US from their home countries with the intent to stay. They both left their home to come to America to look for work and leave their country to live more comfortably. My mother worked for a sewing factory all day and my father scurried looking for work to support not only him and his wife, but also for me. Eventually my parents had my sister, making things rough, it was incredibly difficult just to live and at times my parents wanted to give up and return to Ecuador. Today my mother is the manager of a cookware sales company and my father owns a car dealership, they have both worked their hardest so my sister and I could live comfortably and aspire to do what we want to do. My parents are living proof that if you work hard enough, you can definitely get somewhere. However, others aren’t quite as lucky as my parents were, some immigrants can’t even get past the stage of simply leaving their countries. Not just every immigrant who makes it to this country can get as far as my parents did. I’m strongly in favor for immigration, so many people want to come to this country to work and not only just achieve their goals, but to be free, like they should be. The problem is, some people just can’t easily leave their countries. I want to live in a world where anybody can chase their dreams, regardless of race, with no
