At the time of writing this piece, the heavily televised and campaigned 2016 American presidential elections is two short months down the road. This means there would be a lower percentage of tax-payers. So who would be left to this tax if the illegal immigrants were deported? Illegal workers have added 13 billion dollars in taxes to the Unites State’s social security fund. Out of this only one billion was paid out to immigrants which leaves a 12 billion contribution. This money would not exist if the people were deported. Also, if illegal immigration increased so would crime rate. This is because the government is not aware of them being in the country so the government would have no idea if the immigrants had any convictions which means absolutely anyone could be in the country which is very unsettling.
