In Europe and the Middle East there is a migrant crisis ravaging those regions. At this time migrants from war torn countries are fleeing into European, Asian and North American countries. Some immigrants, could be terrorists looking to harm nations for their cause, so America needs to be strong. Countries need to add strong, and strict immigration policies to combat, illegal immigrants and possible terrorist attacks.
Immigration before the Syrian refugee crisis. Immigration before the crisis in the middle east, was not that much of a big deal. America’s immigration laws are barely being put to the work, and congress isn't cracking down on immigrants in sanctuary cities like Chicago. Congress is not going after sanctuary cities like Chicago even with the information of illegal immigrants. With illegal immigrants living in cities, they live in poverty, since they can not get money. Illegal immigrants also get welfare checks in sanctuary cities.
Today’s response to the Migrant crisis. The response to this is growing into an extremely violent situation. Recently there was a travel ban issued by President Trump in 7 countries for 120 days, and protesters, protested this at O’Hare airport where immigrants were being detained. The more peaceful side of the response, is decreasing. Luckily the protest was a peaceful one for that size of protest. Todays response is mixed, the situation can get worse very quickly, unless world leaders can do something.
Almost nobody is taking action to do what is right. The first thing that this country can do is deport illegal immigrants. Countries, should deport illegal immigrants to lower poverty, and give jobs to citizens of that country. After deporting illegal immigrants, we need to add strict rules on visas. Countries can still allow aliens into their countries, but they should escort these aliens out when green cards, or visas run out, so they don't go into hiding, and be an illegal citizen. That's how and why countries should deport illegal
